The Directory offers a list of musical instrument museums and collections throughout the world and information about them: description and content; location, contacts, opening schedules, services to the public and bibliography.
The Search function allows access to the data by continents, countries, cities and name of the museum or collection. Moreover the Open query option provides a word search in the full text of the Directory.
CIMCIM and AMIS have made this information available as a service to their members and others in good faith, but are not liable for any inaccuracies or out-of-date information. The Directory is not yet complete in its international coverage and must be considered as a work in progress: please read the How to collaborate page if you wish to add information or suggest modifications to the existing texts.
CIMCIM maintains a page with some links to the Web pages of members' museums. This publication is not available in printed form.
